Richard Dale Greenhill II, of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, and Moro, Illinois, died Wednesday, July 12, at the age of 47 of pancreatic cancer. He was born to Richard Dale Greenhill and the late Violet Kaye Greenhill in Granite City, Illinois, on January 20, 1970. Richard was a graduate of Edwardsville High School, where he was recognized as the star goalie for the EHS soccer team. He studied at MacMurray College in Illinois, on a soccer scholarship.

In 1999, Richard married Alison Grace Scudieri of St. Louis, Missouri, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Richard remained active in recreational soccer in Brentwood. They lived in St. Charles, MO, until relocating to Southwest Florida in 2005. There Richard completed his Nursing degree and joined Naples Community Hospital, where he served as an R.N. He was recognized for his patient care and leaves many colleagues and friends.

Besides his devoted wife Alison of 18 years, Richard is survived by his father Richard, his brother Michael, his loving aunt Beverly Rigsby, cousins Maria and Michelle, uncle Gary Greenhill, all of Illinois; Alison's parents, Robert and Lynn Scudieri of Naples, FL, brother-in-law Nate and sister-in-law Erin Scudieri and nieces Stella, Charlotte, nephews Robert, Peter, and Beau of St. Louis.

Memorial services in celebration of Richard's life in Christ are scheduled for Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 8th and Soulard Streets, St. Louis, Missouri, and Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Road, Ft. Myers, Florida.
